The Gilded Span is an oval bar set split shank engagement ring drawn with an architect's hand. Each shoulder divides into two clean rails that fan out toward the center, and the ends of those rails become the setting itself: four flat bar prongs that hold the oval at its sides and leave its length open from end to end. From above, the ring reads as two tapered wings meeting at the stone.
In profile, the rails sweep down into an open U-shaped cradle gallery that carries the stone and joins the inside of the band, so light enters the oval from both sides. Behind the setting, the rails merge into a plain polished band with a rounded profile, comfortable for daily wear and easy to pair with a wedding band.
