2. Why we use it
To answer your questions, manage your account and orders, hold diamonds for you, send the newsletter you asked for, and keep the site secure. That’s it.
3. Who we share it with
Only with the services that help us run the business:
- Wix: website hosting, accounts, and email
- Supabase: our design catalog database
- Diamond suppliers: only what is needed to hold or order a stone
- Anthropic (Claude AI): reads certificate photos you upload. The photos are not used to train AI.
- Shipping carriers (FedEx, Purolator): your delivery details
- Google and Meta: browsing data from analytics and advertising cookies, only if you accept them
We never sell or rent your personal information. Some of these services store data outside Quebec, including in the United States. We make sure they protect it properly.
4. Cookies
- Essential cookies keep the site working, like keeping you signed in. They’re always on.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) show us which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
- Advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) let us measure our ads and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you say yes. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
5. How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active or as long as we need it for your orders, then as long as the law requires (for example, tax records). After that, we delete it.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or to stop getting emails. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. Write to us and we’ll reply within 30 days.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access is limited to the people who need it.
